Project Information
Will this website help you?
- Are you a student with a disability or specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia or dyspraxia?
- Are you aged 16 or over?
- Are you taking a part time or full time course?
- Are you trying to develop the skills you need to get a job?
What is on this site that might help you?
All of the information included on this website is based around research that we have carried out to find out what kinds of support disabled students are already getting in non compulsory education and training, and what sort of support they would really like to have.
Based on the feedback you have already given us, we have included detailed information on this site about:
- 11 different disabilities
- 6 key skills
- 33 combination documents explaining the impact of particular disabilities on the different key skills
- A skills self checker
- How to disclose your disability
- Confidentiality
Anything else that you might find useful?
Students have told us that sometimes they find it easier to use a resource like this to explain about their disability or particular learning needs rather than having to find the right words for themselves, so you might also want to tell your teachers or trainers, and parents, friends or relatives about the website; or better still, send them the website address in an email: q4s.eu – Don’t forget to include the site in your ‘favourites’!
As well as this online information, you can also download the ‘Disability and Skills Guide’ that relates to your disability. This has almost all of the information that you can access through browsing the resource as well as some additional information about resources, benefits etc., so you might want to download a copy to share with your family or teachers.
So who is involved in this project?
This project is a part funded Leonardo da Vinci project with partners in:
- the UK – University of Worcester, Project Coordinator
- Bulgaria – Marie Curie Association (an NGO) and the University of Plovidiv
- Greece – Proodos (a vocational training establishment)

Of course, the most important people involved in this project are yourselves. If you have any feedback you want to give so that we can improve the site for you, please just select the ‘feedback’ button on the menu bar on the left hand side of the page. We will be delighted to hear from you.
